SITE STORIES
We take pride in our ability to customize designs for each project based on specific requirements. We see constraints as opportunities to create unique and innovative solutions. Below we have captured few snippets from our projects.

Frugal in Nature
Reinforcement bars waste from the building construction used to create simple and utilitarian landscape elements in this case we use the rebars to create a beautiful shading device/pergola over a water body deck which over the years shall be covered with climbers

Journey of the
Billet
The billets found in the landfill were a byproduct of a stone cutting workshop that created stone artifacts and lifestyle goods, specifically wash basin. It was interesting to think about how these discarded pieces of stone could potentially be repurposed . We used them as cobbles around the rainwater recharge pit.

Made in stone
Located at the foothills of the mountains, excavation revealed monolithic boulders and stone slab, which were cut and sorted to use at paving patterns. The engraving on the boulder was by an artist from the nearby stone carving community of Srirangapatna

Regional gold
For the project DEVPRAYAG, a community center, we found this art apt. The artist Ms. Pallavi UK an architecture student, belonging to the artistic community was commissioned to take this artwork up.
Chittara is an autochthonous art practice. It is a ubiquitous cultural phenomenon of the Deevaru community They use eco-friendly natural resources like ground rice paste for white colour, roasted rice for black, yellow seeds (Gurige) red earth and the brushes are made up of Pundi Naaru.

Repurpose
Cast iron metal window grill removed from the dilapidated ancestral home, repurposed as an fence for the project, as is.

Tailored
spaces
Designed for a metal health rehabilitation center The raised wall on both sides of the seater was meant to be used as a hand rest for elderly or for youngsters to lean on to, or simply as a side table to keep a notepad and write on.
The image captures the perfect usage of the seater. Its very difficult to always accurately anticipate the ultimate user experience, but here the seater is used as desired.
"The most popular opinion here is the back rest is the hero element in terms of ergonomics."

Artistic expression
The outdoor deck is designed using waste granite stone pieces gathered from a nearby construction site. These stone fragments are embedded in cement, with the spaces in between filled with sand and gravel. The unique flooring pattern is an artistic representation of the client's fingerprint, giving the deck a personalized touch. This creative approach not only recycles waste materials but also adds a distinct and meaningful design to the outdoor space.
